Privacy Policy
This notice covers aperanda.com and the AI Savings Finder at savings.aperanda.com. Short version: we collect only what each step needs; your data does not train any model (the estimate is a formula); and you can ask us to delete everything at ceo@aperanda.com.
1. Who we are
Aperanda S.L. (en constitución) — a Spanish company in the process of registration — operates aperanda.com and the AI Savings Finder, and is the data controller responsible for your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Based in Barcelona, Spain. Contact for anything in this policy: ceo@aperanda.com.
2. What data we collect
On aperanda.com there are no accounts and no tracking. If you email us, we hold your email address and what you wrote — to reply.
When you use the AI Savings Finder (savings.aperanda.com), we collect:
- Company information: website/domain, company name (from public sources or your input), industry, company size
- Assessment answers: your role, department, team size, work repetitiveness, systems used, main goal, and an optional free-text description of a process
- Contact details: first name and work email address
- Consent records: which checkboxes you ticked, the exact text shown, and a timestamp
- Technical data: IP address (for consent logging), QR source tag, timestamps
We do not use tracking cookies. Analytics are cookieless and do not collect personal data. No personal data appears in report URLs — slugs are random identifiers.

4. How we use AI
Your savings estimate is calculated by a deterministic formula — no AI involvement in the numbers. We use an AI language model (Anthropic Claude API) solely to write the narrative text sections of your report, based on your assessment answers and industry benchmarks. The AI does not make decisions about you and does not alter the calculated figures. No automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects takes place.
5. Who we share your data with
We use a small set of processors under data processing agreements: hosting, database storage, transactional email delivery, AI text generation (Anthropic), and lead management. The current list of processors and subprocessors, with names and locations, is available on request at ceo@aperanda.com.
Where a processor is based outside the EU, transfers are safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) where applicable.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties beyond those processors.
6. Your documents in paid engagements
If you become a client and share process documents for an audit or a pilot:
- Your documents are not used to train models.
- We sign an NDA by default before the audit — ours or yours.
- Your documents are processed in the EU.
- Your materials are deleted when the engagement ends, on request.
7. Data retention
- Assessment data and reports: 12 months from creation, then deleted
- If you become a client: retained for the duration of the business relationship plus legal obligations
- Marketing consent records: retained while consent is active, plus 3 years after withdrawal (compliance evidence)

8. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data and obtain a copy
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict processing in certain circumstances
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest, including direct marketing
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
To exercise any of these rights, email ceo@aperanda.com. We respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), aepd.es.
9. Cookies
aperanda.com sets no tracking or analytics cookies. The site stores two things in your browser, and only with your choice: your cookie decision itself (essential) and, if you allow preferences, your language choice. You can change this at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. The AI Savings Finder uses cookieless analytics that do not collect personal data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date below always reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated to the email address you provided, where we have one.
